Receiver Ivan McCartney has chosen West Virginia as his college of choice, according to ESPN.com.
The other teams involved were Miami and Oregon, but the Mountaineers won out. As ESPN.com points out, McCartney attended the same high school as WVU quarterback Geno Smith.
At 6-foot-1, 162 pounds, McCartney is ranked at No. 18 among receivers.
