Jacoby Ellsbury Has New Number, New Position, Same Positive Outlook Mike Cameron came to town and took his position — so what did Jacoby Ellsbury do?

He took Jerry Remy‘s number.

Ellsbury, who will be moving over to left field this season, switched from No. 46 to No. 2. The RemDawg’s number had been owned by Brad Mills up until this spring but Ellsbury took his former high school number when Mills was hired by the Astros in the offseason.
