There will be no Cinderella story for Jamaica in this year's Winter Olympics.

The Jamaican bobsled team has failed to qualify for the Vancouver Games, The New York Times reports.

In 1988, the Jamaican bobsled team debuted at the Winter Olympics in Calgary. The experience Jamaican  inspired the Disney movie Cool Runnings.

"I'm in tears, man," Devon Harris, an original member of the 1988 Jamaican bobsled team, told the Times. "It's one of those things. It's highly disappointing. Our team worked very hard and fell short."

Jamaicans may be disappointed, but the team has not given up hope. The team is training for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

"We intend to come back and come back huge," Harris told the Times. "This is not the end."
