Nothing seems to get people talking like a good Johnny Damon discussion. One person in particular took offense to the notion that Damon could have gotten a PhD.

"Get real, you, of course supply no facts, wonder why? I was considering brain surgery before my mother told me I was too stupid. She knew, because she told me her and my father weren't all that bright, I simply accept it, life goes on. If Damon received all As from school, it had to be dog training school. You ever notice just how articulate the man is? He makes Clemens seem like a Rhodes scholar, maybe that is where you are getting confused?"

When the NHL introduced the shootout, Sunday's game between the Penguins and Red Wings must have been what they had in mind. First, Sidney Crosby tantalizes Wings goalie Jimmy Howard for what seemed like a half an hour before lifting the puck with his backhand and knocking the Gatorade bottle off the net.

Then in stepped Evgeni Malkin, who skated toward the net at what looked to be 3 mph before winning the game. Not bad.
