Olympic Gold Medalist Hannah Kearney Learned From the Best at Waterville Valley When American skier Hannah Kearney won the gold medal in moguls last week, she had the entire country on her side. She also had the support of a small group of some of the best-trained young skiers and snowboarders in the nation at Waterville Valley Academy in New Hampshire.

NESN's Naoko Funayama took a trip to the ski resort, where students spend their mornings in the classrooms and afternoons on the slopes. It's the same place where Kearney, a New Hampshire native and Vermont resident, honed her skills.
