Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Bracket and Schedule The quarterfinal round of the men's hockey Olympic tournament is set, with play set to begin on Wednesday afternoon.

The United States, which earned a bye into the round after Sunday's win over Canada, will face off against Switzerland at 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday. That game will be followed by what could be the game of the tournament, as host Canada will take on Russia. This is a game that was billed as the potential gold medal game, but as it turned out, one of these teams will leave Vancouver without a medal.

Quarterfinal round — Wednesday, Feb. 24

Finland vs. Czech Republic, 10 p.m.
Sweden vs. Slovakia, 12 a.m.

Semifinal round — Friday, Feb. 26

United States vs. Finland/Czech Republic winner, 3 p.m.
Canada winner vs. Sweden/Slovakia Winner, 9:30 p.m.

Medal games

Saturday, Feb. 27
Bronze medal game, 10:30 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 28
Gold medal game, 3:15 p.m.
