Report: Leigh Bodden Won't Accept Hometown Discount From Patriots Will it be one and done for Leigh Bodden in Foxboro? According to the Boston Herald, the cornerback has yet to receive an offer from the team.

Bodden is looking for a multiyear contract worth at least $5 million per season, the Herald reports. The cornerback does not expect to earn Asante Samuel money, but he would rather become a free agent than take a hometown discount to stay in New England.

The seven-year NFL veteran earned $2.25 million last season in his first season with the Patriots. Bodden expressed a desire to return to New England after the campaign.

"It would be great to come back and play with these guys," Bodden told the Herald.

He might not get the chance if his asking price is too high.
