Report: Tom Brady Could Get New Contract Soon Lately, all anyone's talking about is the fact that Peyton Manning should soon be getting a big new contract, but under the radar, the Patriots are planning on handsomely rewarding Tom Brady for his illustrious career in New England.

The Patriots quarterback, who will be entering the final year of his contract in 2010, could soon negotiate a new contract that will make him one of the highest paid players in football, according to NESN insider and ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss.

The contract talks are expected to heat up by March 5, when Brady is due a $3 million roster bonus. Teams often strive to strike a new deal with a player before the bonus is due instead of paying the bonus and then signing an extension later down the road.

Reiss reports that Brady's new deal could range anywhere from $15-$18 million per season.

All negotiations will have to wait until next week, however, as Brady is currently solely focused on perfecting his golf game.
