Sean Casey has never been one to keep his thoughts to himself, and he’s ready to give all the general managers out there an earful about who they may have passed over on the free-agent market this offseason.
The former Red Sox first baseman has Johnny Damon and Russell Branyan at the top of his list of valuable assets who have yet to be signed for 2010.
“[Damon] is the one guy who could really help a club out,” Casey told NESN’s Heidi Watney on Tuesday’s edition of SportsDesk. “You keep seeing him talking about heading to maybe Detroit or the Braves, and especially if you’re looking at that lineup in Detroit, he could really help those guys out.”
