A South Korean man was arrested after threatening to blow up Australia's embassy in Seoul, The Associated Press reports.

The reason? An Australian speedskating judge disqualified the South Korean women's 3,000 meter relay team after a first-place finish on Thursday.

The 35-year-old man, identified as Kim, made the threat via text message, but police found no bomb after searching the Australian embassy.

Kim reportedly told police he was upset after Australian referee Jim Hewish disqualified the South Korean team for impeding Chinese skaters with five laps to go in the short-track competition.

Apparently, Hewish has some history with South Koreans. According to the AP, South Korea women's coach Choi Kwang-bok said Hewish disqualified Kim Dong-sung in the 1500 meter skeedskating event at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games, the same race in which Apolo Ohno took home his first career gold.

After this year's controversy, the U.S. Olympic Web site crashed due to the volume of angry e-mails, with many coming from South Korean fans.

South Korea had won four straight women's 3000 relays in the Olympics since 1994, tied with Germany for most consecutive wins in a specific women's event at the Winter Games, according to the AP. Another victory would have given South Korea the record.

Now, a whole country is disappointed, and one man could face up to three years in prison.
