Tim Thomas' Olympic Goalie Mask Unveiled Tim Thomas got creative with his goalie mask for the Winter Classic, and he’s living up to expectations for next week’s Olympics.

The company that airbrushes the masks, EYECANDYAIR, unveiled the masks of both Thomas and his Olympic teammate Jonathan Quick.

Thomas’ features the USA Hockey logo on top and a bald eagle on the side of the red, white and blue mask. The back pays tribute to the troops, with a soldier saluting the American flag. There is also a bear on the side. It’s the same Mage helmet that Thomas wears on the ice for the Bruins. It was painted and photographed by Steve Nash of EYECANDYAIR.

Quick’s also features a bald eagle, though his is wearing dog tags.

Thomas’ Winter Classic mask featured an image of Fred Cusick on the side, along with snowflakes throughout the black and gold mask. Teammate Tuukka Rask‘s featured Fenway green, along with a bear taking a bite out of a Yankees jersey.
