Rask started in lieu of veteran Tim Thomas and finished with a career high 43 saves in a 3-2 shootout win over the Sabres, Boston’s second straight victory.

Former Sabre Daniel Paille scored twice in the first period to pace the B’s, and David Krejci‘s shootout goal proved to be the deciding tally.
