WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Corey Lowe
scored 24 points off the bench, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with
4:33 left and Boston University defeated Stony Brook 70-63 on Sunday
night in an America East Conference tournament semifinal.

The fourth-seeded Terriers (19-12)
advance to the title game for the first time since 2003 and will try for
their first title since 2002.

They will play either at Vermont or
host New Hampshire.

Top-seeded Stony Brook (22-9), which
has an automatic NIT bid after winning the regular season title, erased a
16-point lead created by a 15-0 BU run near the end of the first
half.

But Lowe's 3 was a key in a 9-0 run to
give the Terriers the lead for good.

Carlos Strong added 15 points and
eight rebounds for Boston U.

America East Player of the Year
Muhammad El-Amin had 20 points for the Seawolves, along with eight of
their 19 turnovers.
