The Celtics grabbed two huge wins against lackluster opponents like the Pacers, the Pistons and the Knicks in the past week — but does that erase the bitter taste left by a devastating defeat at the hands of the Cavaliers?
A win is a win, said NESN insider Dana Barros — and now, the C’s just have to find a way to do more winning as they embark on a three-game road trip against Houston, Dallas and Utah.
“[The three wins] are a great start, but at the same time, you’re still 2-9 against those three teams in front of you [in the standings] — Atlanta, Orlando and Cleveland,” Barros told Cole Wright on Thursday’s edition of SportsDesk. “I just think you need to focus on this next road trip coming up and try to figure out if you can be consistent against the good teams.”
Barros also took the time to provide some March Madness predictions. Who’s in his Final Four? Kansas, Kentucky, Villanova and Syracuse.
