Quote of the day

"I’m trying to come in and get that last spot. I gotta come in and prove I’m better. And when I go out and do something like that, it gets me down."

Comment of the day

It's nice to see that some Red Sox fans look past the facial hair.

"I have been a fan of Youk since day one. He was new on the team so I took up rooting for him. They showed his Mom and Dad in the stands and they looked so proud, as they should. I also could see how hard he worked and it certainly has payed off. Go Youk. I hope he stays with the Red Sox for good. Wishing him a healthy and terrific year, no matter what he does about his facial features."
–Anne
