Free agent defensive end Jarvis Green has signed a four-year deal with the Denver Broncos. The team made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Green spent eight years in New England, winning Super Bowls in 2003 and 2004. He was thrust into a starting role last season when the Patriots traded Richard Seymour shortly before the season began, and Green registered 36 tackles and one sack in 16 games. The sack total was the lowest of his career, as he posted 7.5 in 2006 and 6.5 in 2007.
