Jon Lester Debuts Friday Afternoon in Boston’s Spring Training Tilt With Twins

Fewer than 24 hours after taking down the Twins 2-1 in the first tilt of the annual Mayor's Cup, both teams will be back at it again on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Fort, with ace Jon Lester on the bump.

Friday's contest will be at the Twins' Hammond Stadium at The Lee County Sports Complex, just down the road from the Red Sox' complex.

The teams will square off for the third time in three days on Saturday afternoon, as well. A couple of players to keep an eye on at the Fort on Friday are Daisuke Matsuzaka and Mike Cameron. Dice-K is slated to get some work in Friday morning when the righty takes part in his first bullpen session of the spring while Cameron will make his Red Sox debut as Boston's leadoff hitter against Minnesota's Carl Pavano.
