St. Louis made 10 cuts from its major league roster on Sunday. Included in the trimming was former Red Sox knuckleballer Charlie Zink, who will be facing his old club Monday afternoon.

Zink appeared in just one game for Boston, when he was shelled for eight earned runs over 4 1/3 innings against the Rangers in 2008, but was a member of the organization since 2002. He won 14 games for the PawSox in 2008 but went 6-15 for Pawtucket last summer.
