The Canadiens sit seventh in the Eastern Conference, three points ahead of the Bruins entering play Tuesday, but the team should be getting some reinforcements soon. Winger Michael Cammalleri is expected to return on Wednesday to help Montreal's playoff push, according to the National Post.

Coach Jacques Martin expects the return of Cammalleri and defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron to particularly help the Habs' power play.

"I haven't been pleased with our special teams the last two games," Martin told the Post. "We've scored one power-play goal, but not only that … we haven't created momentum from our power play."

Cammalleri and Bergeron have a combined 36 goals and 40 assists this season. The Canadiens had won six straight games before losing back-to-back contests to the Maple Leafs and Senators, and the additions of Cammalleri and Bergeron should help the team on its pursuit of a playoff spot, according to Martin.

"With Cammalleri back, it enables us to have two units competing for ice time and it gives us depth," he said. "And Bergeron gives us a dimension we didn't have."
