The 2010 NCAA Tournament is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in history.

Thanks to Northern Iowa, Kansas — the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament — is heading home after the first weekend. The No. 9 Panthers shocked the Jayhawks 67-65 to advance to the Sweet 16. No. 2 Villanova got bounced by No. 10 St. Mary’s, and No. 11 Washington smoked No. 3 New Mexico.

Some higher seeds also won. Kentucky rolled Wake Forest, and Kansas State turned back BYU.

But the game that is going to be remembered for a long time is Northern Iowa’s slaying of the giant on Day 3.

President Barack Obama isn’t the only hoops fan whose bracket has been busted because of the Panthers’ huge upset.

Here’s how the rest of the field looks.
