Rays Sign Cuban First-Base/Outfield Prospect Leslie Anderson

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Cuban Leslie Anderson has agreed in principle to a contract with the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Rays said Thursday that some details of the deal with the 27-year-old first baseman-outfielder are still being worked out.

Anderson is a former member of the Cuban national team.
