Tiger Woods said he didn't know when he would make his return to golf, but the New York Post might know.

The newspaper reported on Thursday that the golfer has hired Ari Fleischer to help "plot a strategy" for Woods to return to competitive golf on March 25 at Bay Hill.

Fleischer is a former presidential adviser and White House press secretary, and according to the Post, he was in Woods' living room this week.

"I would be shocked if he didn’t play the Arnold Palmer [Invitational]," a source told the Post.

Fellow golfer and friend Mark O'Meara also said he wouldn't be surprised to see Woods in the event.

"It's been a rough road the last three or four months in Tiger’s life and his family’s life," O'Meara told the Post. "It's a very difficult situation. Golf is what Tiger does, and possibly part of the healing process is to get back at it."

Fleischer, who runs Ari Fleischer Sports Communications, offers media training, image management and crisis management on his company's Web site. He has recommendations from Bud Selig, Joe Torre and NFL executive Joe Brown on the site.
