MADRID — USF1 reportedly will not be racing in Formula One this year, with the American team looking to hold its spot for 2011.

USF1, one of four new teams introduced to the grid for 2010, had previously said it was skipping the first four races of the season.

But according to autosport.com, team boss Ken Anderson says it is "waiting for a reply from [governing body] FIA" about debuting next year.

Calls to Anderson, co-owner Pete Windsor and the FIA were not immediately returned.
