Saints coach Sean Payton is snapping back at a former New Orleans long snapper.

According to The Huffington Post, Payton and his wife, Elizabeth, have filed a federal lawsuit against Kevin Houser, a former Saints long snapper, over a $144,000 investment he made in Houser's failed movie studio.

The Paytons invested in Louisiana Film Studios LLC to take advantage of tax incentives Louisiana offers filmmakers. Payton's lawsuit alleges he and his wife paid Houser for $180,000 in state tax credits, which would have netted them at least a 20 percent profit on their initial investment.

However, the studio's CEO never applied for the tax credits, and the Paytons never saw a return on their investment. The dispute became public after the Saints released Houser last July. Payton claims Houser's release and his investment in Houser’s movie studio are unrelated.

The Paytons are not alone in being swindled the lawsuit has become a class-action suit that covers anyone who tried to take advantage of the tax incentives by investing in the failed movie studio. Other prominent investors included Super Bowl XLIV Most Valuable Player Drew Brees and former Saints star Archie Manning, according to court records.

Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey and Seahawks defensive lineman Charles Grant have filed similar lawsuits against Houser as well.
