Legendary Brazilian soccer player Ronaldo pulled a Rex Ryan last week.

According to mlive.com, the three-time world player of the year made an obscene gesture to fans of his team, Corinthians, after they lost 1-0 to Paulista in the Sao Paulo state championship.

At least 30 fans cursed and shouted at the soccer star as he was leaving the stadium, according to The Associated Press. Some fans reportedly called him fat.

Ronaldo issued a statement regarding his actions after the match.

"I want to apologize if any Corinthians fans felt offended and [I want to] reiterate my admiration for them," Ronaldo told the AP. "I made childish mistakes."

The 33-year-old striker did not comment on the target of his gesture.

Ronaldo has scored two goals in nine games this season as he continues to recover from a serious knee injury he suffered last year.
