Kobe Bryant may be the Lakers' biggest star, but Pau Gasol may be the only member of the team with his own paparazzi following.
According to CBSSports.com, two men working for a Spanish news agency were stopped by police in Redondo Beach, Calif., on March 18 for following Gasol's car.
Gasol told authorities that he saw the men following him before he got into his car. Sgt. Phil Keenan says the Lakers forward was worried that they might be stalkers.
Keenan says officers pulled over the car near the police station, and officers discovered that the men worked for a Spanish news agency. The men were allowed to leave and Gasol was escorted home.
Gasol was born in Barcelona but lives in Redondo Beach.
