USA Tops Olympic Medal Count, Though Canada Takes Home Most Gold Medals

The final Olympic medal count has the United States atop the list, but the Americans aren't holding the most golds.

That honor belongs to the hosts, as Canada won a whopping 14 gold medals.

USA's 37 medals were the most by a country in any Winter Olympics, and the total was 12 more than the country's previous high of 25, set in 2006.

Ten gold, 13 silver, seven bronze

3. Canada — 26
Fourteen gold, seven silver, five bronze

4. Norway — 23
Nine gold, eight silver, six bronze

6. Russia — 15
Three gold, five silver, seven bronze

7. South Korea — 14
