The Tampa Bay Rays recognize true talent.

Last year, the Rays Summer Concert Series featured the likes of Pat Benatar and American Idol's Chris Daughtry, and this season's musical lineup is projected to be even more magical with Adam Lambert, The St. Petersburg Times reports.

Tropicana Field one-upped Fenway with the move to book the controversial Idol runner-up.  Bruce Springsteen? Rolling Stones? Dave Matthews? They pale in comparison to "Glambert." If you have somehow forgotten the songster, Lambert is the shrieking, black-eye-make-up- wearing singer, who gave a questionable performance at the American Music Awards.

Lambert will join John Fogerty (April 24), ZZ Top (May 1), Nelly (May 15), Hall and Oates (May 29) and the Go-Gos (July 10).

Hey, if the Ray's can't fill the Trop's seats, might as well give Lambert belting "Whataya Want From Me" a try.
