The Boston Bruins will thank fans for their support this season by hosting Fan Appreciation Day during the Bruins-Hurricanes game at the TD Garden on April 10.

The organization will show B’s fans its appreciation with an all-day affair. Upon arrival at the TD Garden, 17,000 fans will receive a free Bruins rally towel courtesy of AirTran. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes throughout the game, including a trip to New York to see the Bruins play the Rangers during the 2010-11 season. One lucky fan even will have the chance to have a family holiday portrait taken at center ice with the giant bear featured in the Bruins TV commercials.

Saturday’s festivities will conclude with this year’s “Shirts Off Their Backs” ceremony immediately following the game. Bruins players will remain on the ice and throw T-shirts into the stands, and 24 randomly selected fans will get to meet a Boston player and take home the game-worn autographed jersey of that player.

The Bruins Ice Girls won’t be giving fans the shirts off their backs, but fans can rock out with them during the game. The B’s dance team will have Harmonix’s Rock Band set up at their photo and autograph station at Section 7 on the Level 4 concourse.
