CLEVELAND — Cleveland police say Browns
nose tackle Shaun Rogers has been arrested at Hopkins International
Airport for having a loaded gun in his luggage.
Rogers was arrested at 12:15 p.m. Thursday
after a loaded .45-caliber hand gun was found by security officials in
his carry-on bag.
Police said he was placed under arrest without
incident and was booked for carrying a concealed weapon, which is a
third-degree felony, though no charge has yet been filed.
Browns president Mike Holmgren issued a
statement saying the team was aware of Rogers' arrest.
A three-time Pro Bowler, Rogers missed
Cleveland's final five games last season after breaking his leg on Nov.
29 against Cincinnati.
