Point guard Josh Selby, one of
the nation's top high school players, has decided to attend Kansas.

The 6-foot-3 Selby starred at Lake
Clifton High School in Baltimore, Md., and will likely step right in to
replace departing senior Sherron Collins as the Jayhawks' point guard.
He has been rated as high as No. 4 overall in this year's class by
various scouting services.

Selby made his announcement on ESPN2
during a time out in the Jordan Brand Classic in New York. He said he
narrowed his choices to UConn, Arizona, Tennessee and Kentucky before
opting for Kansas.

The Jayhawks lost three starters off
the team that won a sixth straight Big 12 championship.
