Jonathan Papelbon Holds Down Amica Pitcher of the Week Honors Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon has had a pressure-packed April, thanks to a sour ending to the 2009 season.

But the radical reliever has thankfully bounced back.

Paps looked forward to getting off on the right foot in 2010, and judging by his week that was, the closer is on his way to winning back the hearts of Red Sox Nation. Cinco Ocho worked five scoreless innings in the past week, and although he was unable to post a save, he did notch a win in Boston's 7-6 win over the Rangers on Tuesday night.

In those five innings, Papelbon struck out three, walked two and allowed just one hit — a single by Josh Hamilton on Wednesday that was quickly erased thanks to a double play ball by Vladimir Guerrero against the Rangers.
