Nate Robinson, Marquis Daniels on Outside of Celtics’ Rotation Looking In

Two of the Celtics? biggest acquisitions sat on the bench for all 48 minutes Sunday. For Marquis Daniels and Nate Robinson, that?s likely where they?ll stay  for the near future.

According to the Boston Globe, Daniels and Robinson are out of the Celtic?s rotation after being relegated to the back of the bench in the 117-113 victory over the Cavaliers. After staving off a Cleveland comeback, the Celtics looked primed and ready for playoff basketball, and coach Doc Rivers doesn?t see the need for any changes going forward.

"Their role is to work every day in practice, but there will be a day or a time you're gonna need them," Rivers told the Globe. "Somebody will get in foul trouble, or someone may not be playing well. Yeah, right now, they are [out of the rotation]. But that doesn't mean they won't be back in it."

Until Robinson and Daniels can work their way back onto Rivers? good side — and that?s not guaranteed– Tony Allen and the newly acquired Michael Finley will take the majority of their minutes.

Robinson and Daniels were the only Celtics in uniform not to see the floor Sunday.
