Red Sox Nation Most Concerned With Red Sox' Hitting In the wake of a five-game losing streak, the Red Sox left their fans a bit concerned about many aspects of their game — but the most prominent worries have to do with offense.

Tuesday’s kgb Poll Question asked Red Sox Nation what part of Boston’s game is the most worrisome, and according to 73 percent of fans, the hitting — or lack thereof — concerns them the most. Eighteen percent of fans are worried about pitching and nine percent are worried about defense.

Tom Caron and Peter Gammons discussed the results of the poll on Tuesday’s edition of Red Sox Final.

“[The Red Sox] need to make Fenway Park a distinct home-field advantage again,” Gammons said. “And I think it kind of slipped away because those games against Tampa [all four of which Boston lost] were so boring. Just to get a spark and get people excited again is really important.

“It’s something to build off of.”
