Saturday's Game 2 Against Sabres a Must-Win for Bruins After the Bruins bowed out against the Sabres in Thursday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals, the pressure is on for them to come home to the TD Garden on Monday with a series split.

That means Saturday’s Game 2 is a must-win for the Black and Gold.

“It’s the playoffs — let’s get something going, here,” NESN insider Mikey Adams said during another rousing edition of “Take It or Leave It” on Friday’s edition of SportsDesk. “Of course it’s a must-win. Put the biscuit in the basket!”

Meanwhile, the Canadiens did what the Bruins couldn’t do on Thursday night — they knocked off the heavily-favored Capitals on the road, taking a 1-0 series advantage. But will the good times keep rolling for the Habs?

“I’m going to leave that for two reasons — first of all, I hate those Habs,” Mikey said. “Secondly, the revenge of [Alex] Ovechkin. You watch what happens here in this next game. I think you’re going to find these words to be true.”
