Reddick made his major league debut in 2009, hitting .169 with two home
runs over 59 at-bats.
The 24-year-old hit the cover off the ball in spring training, but reported to Triple-A Pawtucket to begin the year, where he struggled.
Despite the slow start, Reddick is now in Boston to fill the spot vacated by Cameron, who has a strained abdominal muscle.
“It’s always good to be here,” Reddick said on Red Sox GameDay Live.
He is in the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers, batting ninth and manning center field.
