Bruins Lament Lost Opportunity One Final Time The Boston Bruins started clearing out their lockers at the TD Garden on Tuesday as players reflected one final time on their disappointing exit from the playoffs against the Flyers.

“It’s weird watching these games,” goalie Tuukka Rask said of the conference finals on Tuesday’s edition of SportsDesk. “Just a couple nights ago, we were there and getting ready for morning practices.”

Zdeno Chara maintained a diplomatic stance on Boston’s series defeat after it went up three games to none, only to lose after Philadelphia ripped off four straight victories.

“Like I said, it’s disappointing and you have to move on,” he said.

The Bruins will be back next season to give it another try, and Matt Hunwick hopes that Mark Recchi is around to see it.

“We had some great veteran players like Recchi, and you hope you can keep them around,” Hunwick said. “Everyone says the window [to win] is so short.”
