Tuukka Rask Denies Flyers 34 Times En Route to Bruins Victory The good news? The Bruins took down the Flyers 4-1 on Wednesday night, earning a 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The bad news? In the process, they lost David Krejci.

Just two games removed from center Marco Sturm’s season-ending injury, Krejci went down early in the first period after taking on open-ice hit, courtesy of Mike Richards. The extent of the injury is currently unknown.

Though the Flyers started off the scoring just a couple of minutes into the game with an Aaron Asham goal, the B’s responded quickly. Blake Wheeler evened the score less than two minutes later, and shortly thereafter, Miroslav Satan put the B’s up 2-1.

Mark Recchi added an insurance goal in the third, and Patrice Bergeron‘s empty-netter was the final nail in Philly’s coffin.

Bruins rookie goaltender Tuukka Rask was instrumental in the win, stopping 34 of 35 shots.
