The easy part is over.

Boston’s Biggest Sports Legend has been whittled down to the four men who represent the face of the Boston sports landscape: Bobby Orr, Ted Williams, Bill Russell and Larry Bird. Fans are now tasked with pitting them against each other. Good luck.

It is nearly impossible to differentiate the four greats of Boston sports, but fans will have to try. With Russell, you’ve got the definition of a champion. With Orr, you’ve got the man who revolutionized his sport. In Williams, you have perhaps the greatest hitter who ever lived. And in Bird, you have a man who’s seamlessly added the word “legend” to his name.

Obviously, all four men are worthy of the distinction of being named Boston’s Biggest Sports Legend, but only one will win. That is up to you.

1. Bill Russell vs. 2. Larry Bird

1. Ted Williams vs. Bobby Orr

Vote for your picks. The semifinal polls close Tuesday, June 1, at 12 p.m. ET.
