As of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, 80 percent of voters want to see Lowell play every day while 17 percent want him to platoon with Big Papi. Just three percent of voters would like to see him traded.

Text “SOX1” to 542542 to vote for playing Lowell every day, text “SOX2” to stick with the platoon system, or text “SOX3” to 542542 to vote for trading the third baseman in hopes of adding some depth to the team.
