Red Sox Bats Stay Hot in Victory Over Blue Jays

Red Sox Bats Stay Hot in Victory Over Blue Jays Dustin Pedroia
was pleased the Red Sox held on for a 7-6 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night.

“We’ve been swinging the bats well the last couple nights,” he told NESN’s Heidi Watney. “It was a good night for the offense.”

Pedroia was a key component of the win, nabbing two hits and three RBIs, but he refused to take all the credit.

“Just playing the game,” he said. “You’re out there enough, you get some plays.”

Of course, Pedroia had a quip in store about the victory.

“We run-prevented them,” he said with a grin.
