Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland may call one of the latest Michigan laws a real pain in the butt — cigarette butt that is.

Leyland, who has smoked cigarettes while at the ballpark throughout his long
career, will no longer be able to do so at Comerica Park thanks to a Michigan law that went into effect at 6 a.m. Saturday that bans smoking in most
workplaces in the state. The 65-year-old said he's quit before but doesn't plan to now.

If the skipper gets that nicotine craving, he'll be able to sneak up to the Camacho Cigar Bar inside the stadium's Tiger Club, as it will be among cigar bars and tobacco specialty shops that are exempt from the ban.
