What do Donald Trump, John McEnroe, Whoopi Goldberg and Boomer Esiason have in common?

They've all come down with a killer case of Bron fever.

According to the New York Post, a celebrity committee is gathering in New York in hopes of persuading free agent LeBron James to join the lowly Knicks this offseason. Since the Knicks can't speak with James until the free-agency period begins, the club has formed this group of celebs and athletes, hoping the big names can get the NBA's biggest name to join them in the Big Apple.

"He would take over the city," Trump told the Post. "I am in many different cities, but I can tell you, LeBron, there is only one New York."

For some, the No. 1 question is simple.

"You really want to live in Cleveland? That's what I would tell him," comic Chris Rock told the Post. "Where do you want to live?"

In addition to Trump, McEnroe, Goldberg, Rock and Esiason, other notable celebrities recruiting James include Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan and Spike Lee. Also expecting to join the mix are talk-show host Charlie Rose, Donny "The Big Idea" Deutsch, Mark Messier, Phil Simms and Knicks legends Willis Reed, Walt Frazier and Earl "The Pearl" Monroe.

The Knicks finished 29-53 last season.
