Bobby Orr Pitted Against Bill Russell in Final Round of Boston's Biggest Sports Legend The man who revolutionized his sport, turned an entire region into hockey-crazed lunatics and brought two Stanley Cups to Boston is matched up with — quite simply — the greatest winner in the history of sports.

An easy matchup? Well, no, but it is now up to the fans to decide who will be Boston's Biggest Sports Legend: Bobby Orr or Bill Russell.

Both legends are coming off semifinal victories over other legends — Orr over Ted Williams, Russell over Larry Bird — but this week's matchup will determine the greatest legend of them all.

Neither Orr nor Russell needs an introduction, and neither needs his resume explained in great detail. Fans will have to decide which legend is the biggest. It's not an easy decision, and there's no uniform way to make such a judgment, but when the week is through, either Russell or Orr will be crowned as Boston's Biggest Sports Legend.
