Bruins Given 16-1 Odds to Win Stanley Cup in 2011

Computer simulations done before the playoffs began in April gave the Bruins a zero percent chance to win the Stanley Cup. Considering those odds, the B's are in a little better position heading into next year.

Bodog.com released its NHL odds over the weekend, and the Bruins were given 16-1 odds of hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup next June.

The 2010 champion Blackhawks have 11-2 odds to repeat, with the Penguins (6-1),  Capitals (13-2) and Sharks (9-1) close behind as the favorites.

On the other side of the spectrum, the oddsmakers aren't expecting Taylor Hall or Tyler Seguin to make an immediate impact — at least not in terms of Cup chances — as the Oilers are last with 75-1 odds to win it all.
