Bruins Select Russian Defenseman Maxim Chudinov in Seventh Round

With the 15th pick (195th overall) in the seventh round, the Bruins selected Russian defenseman Maxim Chudinov

Chudinov recorded 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 47 games for HC Severstal of Cherepovets in the Kontinental Hockey League.

The 19-year-old has been praised for his physical style of play and his heart on the ice, but his main downfall is his size at only 5-foot-11, 187 pounds.
