Colin Braun will be welcoming a new crew chief to call the shots as the Nationwide Series goes to Road America on Saturday. Though his crew chief is new, Road America is quite familiar to Braun, who plans to use that experience to his advantage.

"I’m definitely looking forward to Road America this weekend," said Braun. "It’s been a while, but I tested a sports car there a few years ago."

Braun has been on a hot streak lately, finishing in the top 10 his last two races. He finished 10th last week at Kentucky after qualifying 16th.

"I’ve had a good last couple of races with the top 10s at Dover and Kentucky," said Braun. "I want to keep that momentum going this weekend on the first road course of the year."

Besides his previous outings to Road America, Braun has had some decent experience on road courses. He started in two other Nationwide races on road courses in both Mexico City and Montreal in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Braun also sees new crew chief Rick Viers as a great addition to the team.

"It’s great to have Rick Viers come on board at Roush Fenway and I’m excited at the opportunity to work with him," said Braun. "He did some awesome things with Greg [Biffle] in that No. 27 car earlier this year and I think he will be a great addition to this team."

Braun currently sits in 29th place in the Nascar Nationwide Series with 894 points.

The Bucyrus 200 at Road America will start Saturday, June 19, at 3 p.m.
