If you’re a Seinfeld fan, then surely you remember Keith Hernandez’s memorable cameo on the show in 1992. Well, Jerry Seinfeld and Keith Hernandez were teamed up once again on Wednesday night. This time, they traded a television studio for the New York Mets’ broadcasting booth.

Seinfeld spent four-and-a-half innings alongside Hernandez and Gary Cohen during the Mets’ 5-0 win over the Detroit Tigers, and touched on everything from his baseball memories to Hernandez’ acting career.

According to Yahoo.com, Seinfeld’s favorite Mets moment is Endy Chavez’ leaping catch in Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS, and his favorite Mets player of all time is Tommie Agee.

Seinfeld also sounded off on pop singer Lady Gaga, whose bizarre behavior at Citi Field and Yankee Stadium has drawn national media attention in recent weeks.

"I love my Mets fans, and I did not like the finger," he said of Lady Gaga’s obscene gesture to Mets fans on June 11.

"She should make a nice apology to the Mets fans, come on, we had her as a guest," he went on to say.

Lady Gaga used Seinfeld’s Citi Field suite during that game.

Seinfeld also joked of the incident: "We brought the bed bug dog in. Rusty, what’s his name, the beagle, and it’s all clean."

According to PRNewswire.com, "Rusty the beagle" is actually Roscoe the Bed Bug Dog, the lead canine inspector at Bell Environmental Services, which is a leading provider of bed bug services in New York City and the tri-state area.
