Daniel Nava's Big Day Catches Erin Andrews' Attention If leaving game tickets won’t get Erin Andrews’ attention, maybe Red Sox outfielder Daniel Nava’s grand slam in his first major league at-bat will.

Nava made his major league debut on Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies and hit the very first pitch he saw into the bullpen for a grand slam.

In doing so, Nava became the fourth player ever to hit a grand slam in his first big league at-bat. The grand slam may attract just the kind of attention Nava needs to grab the attention of his crush, ESPN’s Erin Andrews. After all, chicks dig the long ball.

According to WBZ-TV, while playing for the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox, Nava would leave a ticket to home games for the ESPN commentator and recent Dancing With the Stars participant.

Apparently, Nava has grabbed Andrews’ attention. Shortly after his grand slam landed Saturday afternoon, Andrews tweeted about the situation.

"Pass along my best to Daniel," it read. "Congrats on a big day that will go down in Sox history! Hope to meet him soon!"

For Nava, persistence and a little dose of the long ball has paid off.
