Mike Cameron Plays Reporter After Victor Martinez’s Big Night in Cleveland

Mike Cameron Plays Reporter After Victor Martinez's Big Night in Cleveland While one Red Sox player celebrated a win in his former city, another got to test out his broadcasting skills.

Boston center-fielder Mike Cameron interviewed catcher Victor Martinez after Martinez went 2-for-4 en route to a 4-1 win over his former team, the Cleveland Indians.

Cameron jokingly referred to Progressive Field as “part of the house that Victor Martinez built.”

But the two did have somewhat of a serious exchange, as Martinez analyzed Daisuke Matsuzaka‘s strong outing.

“Dice-K did a great job pounding the strike zone and getting ahead of the hitters,” Martinez said of his battery mate.

Hopefully this isn’t the end of Cameron’s career in sports reporting.
